Compact push-to-close latches in stainless steel

The addition of a new compact, stainless steel M1-15 latch to the line of Southco M1 push-to-close latches offers a new option for enclosures that demand corrosion-resistant durability in a compact housing to fit smaller profile doors and drawers. Pull-tab actuation and push-to-close latch engagement provide fingertip convenience for opening and closing. And with a 122lb (545N) maximum recommended working load rating - which is higher than most latches of similar size - this latch is designed to deliver robust performance even in mobile applications where the contents of an enclosure can shift and create an impact load on the inside of the door.

Delcam launches PartMaker Version 8.6

Delcam is launching the version 8.6 of its PartMaker family of software. The PartMaker range includes systems for programming turn-mill equipment and Swiss-type lathes, plus supporting software for milling, turning and wire EDM. PartMaker Version 8.6 features a number of productivity-enhancing improvements, including improved solids-based programming, tool selection, surface machining and simulation. All these enhancements are designed to make PartMaker users more productive across the full range of applications.

Stainless steel drive products suit outdoor and hygienic tasks

Machinery such as that used to prepare meat and poultry, beverages, dairy, fruit, vegetables and tobacco usually consists of a mix of high aseptic and low aseptic modules. In the high aseptic areas washdown with high pressure jets is needed. This in turn means surfaces that will not corrode and without dirt traps. Lenze now offers a solution for these applications in the form of both standard AC motors and servo motors in stainless steel.
