Easy-to-use ETP hydraulic hub-shaft connections from Abssac

Easy-to-use ETP hydraulic hub-shaft connections from Abssac

Abssac is supplying the entire range of ETP hydraulic hub-shaft connections in the UK. The scientist Blaise Pascal formulated the principle of pressure propagation in liquids many years ago: Pascal's law, or the principle of transmission of fluid pressure, states that "pressure exerted anywhere in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid such that the pressure ratio (initial difference) remains the same." ETP hydraulic locking bushes utilise the many positive qualities of this principle and the manufacturer has continued to develop the product range further so that the locking technology can be applied reliably and accurately in industrial applications. Watch the short video below to see how the bushes work - and how easy they are to use (NB this video has no sound).

Brad Ultra-Lock (M12) EX Connection System for hazardous sites

Brad Ultra-Lock (M12) EX Connection System for hazardous sites

Molex Incorporated is introducing the Brad Ultra-Lock (M12) EX Connection System, providing process automation installers a safe, quick connection interface for instrumentation and control devices in potentially explosive and hazardous areas. As with other Brad Ultra-Lock connectors, the Ultra-Lock (M12) EX features patented push-to-lock technology, providing a simple and secure operator-independent connection. In addition, the Ultra-Lock (M12) EX includes an integral isolating ring that limits access to the release mechanism of the connector, allowing the connector to be pushed on but requiring a screwdriver to disconnect. Because the connection point is considered non-arcing it is suitable for use in a Class I, Division 2 and Zone 2 classified areas.
