High speed, high volume, low maintenance packaging solution

High speed, high volume and low maintenance were the performance demands placed on HepcoMotion for a challenging packaging application for Bosch Packaging Technology in partnership with recently acquired Kliklok Corporation. The Kliklok Integrated Topload Cartoner (ITC) forms top load style cartons or trays and automatically loads wrapped products into them before closing. Ideal for producers of confectionery, cereal bars, bakery products and cookies, the ITC is comprised of a single integrated solution with three functions; carton forming, loading and closing – using one operator and one HMI.

Destacking technology transforms retailer"s apple packing process

When one of the largest supermarket chains in the UK was looking to save costs and improve apple packing efficiency, it turned to destacking technology from Brillopak, a specialist in end of line automation for fresh food produce. Brillopak installed five apple packing lines at the retailer’s central distribution centre near Kettering. Serving over 500 stores nationwide, the centre has transformed its operation from a roundtable manual crate separation and loading method, to a high speed, optimised apple packing and palletising process.
