Micro-Epsilon showcase new sensor at Advanced Engineering 2017

At the Advanced Engineering Show (1st November - 2nd November 2017) at the NEC, Birmingham, Micro-Epsilon UK (stand D50) will showcase its full range of sensor technologies, including non-contact capacitive, eddy current and laser triangulation displacement sensors, as well as 2D/3D laser profile sensors, thermal imagers and colour sensors. The stand will also feature two new measurement systems: thicknessSENSOR and moldCONTROL.

Renishaw's founder awarded honorary doctorate

The University of Huddersfield has awarded an honorary doctorate to Sir David McMurtry, Chairman and Chief Executive of Renishaw. Sir David is a visiting professor at the University, which is a leading centre for the study and research of metrology, the science of measurement. He will receive the doctorate at a ceremony in November, 2017.
