Tsubaki Europe's 'Custom Chain Made to Order' catalogue is the third in the series, following on from the comprehensive Drive and Attachment chain catalogues. The MTO catalogue is available directly from Tsubaki, and the company is keen to underline that this is not just a service for OEM customers, it is also intended for developing more advanced replacement chain products for any application or solution be it high functionality, improving performance or related to total cost of ownership for MRO requirements. Examples of Tsubaki's MTO chain service can be found in a wide variety of industry sectors, from conveyors in the automotive industry, heat resistant solutions for bakery ovens, stitching and finishing chains for book binding, attachments to hold newspapers, food cans and many others.
The brochure highlights Tsubaki's highly functional line-up for specific applications such as lube free, food safe areas, high and low temperature, high corrosion resistance, outdoor exposure and dusty environments. With other products such as bearing roller and the free flow series providing solutions for indexing and accumulation conveying.
Catalogue support includes information on Tsubaki's overall chain length matching capability both from Europe and direct from the state of the art manufacturing division in Japan, a product corrosion resistance guide and technical support sheets that can be used on-site, such as the application check sheet and the easy spacing attachment guide found on pages 82 & 83 of the catalogue.
In addition to developing completely new solutions to engineering challenges the Made To Order service also acts as an extension to the local service provided, as over the years Tsubaki has become synonymous for supplying special attachments either from stock or by swift and reliable local assembly.
