Full bridge PWM gate-driver motor control ICs

Allegro MicroSystems Europe is introducing a new family of full bridge gate-driver ICs designed to drive a wide range of DC brushed motors with simple logic from a microprocessor. The new A4955/56 and A5957 devices can support motor supply voltages up to 50V and load currents of up to 20A. These devices are targeted for both the industrial and consumer markets in applications such as robotic vacuum cleaners, vending machines, cash dispensing machines, coffee vending machines, ticketing machines, automatic gates and turnstiles, and sewing machines.

igus xiros rollers for packaging machines

igus has developed a system for guide and transport rollers used in the labelling, packaging and food industries that helps OEMs build machines that adhere to some of the most strict regulations and cope with very harsh environments when deployed on the factory floor. The xiros rollers consist of an anodised aluminium tube and two xiros ball bearings, which are lightweight, low friction and cost-effective in comparison with their metal counterparts. They also run without the need for lubricants, which may damage, discolour or deteriorate the integrity of the material or film during the processing.

Washdown sensors now available in classical housing type

Contrinex is adding a classical housing type (series 600) to its Washdown range of food industry-approved inductive sensors. The range now includes not only Full Inox one-piece stainless-steel sensors in sizes M12, M18 and M30, but also the new Classics type in a standard M12 size.

Compact, strong, economical - planetary gear 300M

Bonfiglioli is launching a new planetary gear 300M series for industrial applications. The 300M series, with its optimised reduction stages, stands for highest performance, a higher torque density for the same compact dimensions and is available in 20 sizes with an output torque of 1.3 to 1300kNm. The planetary drives of the 300M series are equipped with newly designed planet bearings, which grant up to 50 per cent more torque at high numbers of cycles. The new planetary gear 300M series by Bonfiglioli is fully interchangeable with the well-known planetary gear 300 series and is suitable for integrated geared motors, IEC and NEMA electric and hydraulic motors.
