Altra Industrial Motion at BrauBeviale 2016

Altra Industrial Motion exhibited its products for processing in the beverage industry at BrauBeviale 2016, the world's premier exhibition for the production of beverages. Altra brands present at the exhibition included Bauer Gear Motor, Huco Dynatork and Warner Electric - who each displayed a number of industry specialised products for increasing automated production efficiency.

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group acquires Aflex Hose Ltd

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) has acquired Aflex Hose Limited and its subsidiary Aflex Hose USA LLC (Aflex) through its parent company Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, for £61.4 million. Aflex, based in Halifax, England and with a sales/assembly operation in Pennsylvania, USA, specialises in the design and manufacture of PTFE-lined flexible hose for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical process industries.

NI announces finalists for Northern European Awards

NI has announced the finalists chosen for the NI Engineering Impact Awards. The NI Engineering Impact Awards is a technical application contest, showcasing the most innovative projects based on NI software and hardware. This prestigious event is to be held in the RSA house on the evening of the 28th of November. NI will commend and award these incredible engineers in the building in which Alexander Graham Bell first demonstrated the telephone: a pioneering application much like the work of these finalists.
