Leuze electronic was chosen as the supplier for all sensing and safety solutions when Mineral Water producer Romina selected BEYER to modernize its glass bottle filling and packing systems.  The company was appointed as a result of its experience and in-depth application knowledge of the packaging and beverage industry.

Leuze provided solutions which included optical sensors to accurately and reliably detect transparent or highly reflective materials (such as glass bottles or plastic crates with glossy, multi-coloured decoration) together with Safety Light Curtains featuring Smart Process Gating (SPG), a feature patented by Leuze which saves much space and offers significant advantages when installing in confined areas.
